They all hope to regain the strength to move forward.The Hong Kong Guide Dogs Academy is dedicated to training professional guide dogs and Mini-Q assisted therapy dogs:Guide dogs: becoming the eyes of people with visual impairments, helping them travel safely with renewed confidence and dignity.Mini-Q assisted therapy dogs: visiting schools and care homes to ease anxiety and bring comfort through warm companionship.Behind every dog that graduates successfully is a great deal of love and change. Yet the Academy's resources are limited, and many people are still waiting for support. Your donation helps this warmth continue to reach them.

The Hong Kong Guide Dogs Academy trains guide dogs and Mini-Q assisted therapy dogs, promotes inclusive public education, and operates the Grade III historic former Lau Fau Shan Police Station.Why do we need your support?Training a guide dog takes around two years, covering early socialisation, intensive obedience training, route familiarisation, and post-matching follow-up. With long-term professional care and medical support, the estimated cost is HK$400,000–500,000 per dog.Every guide dog that graduates successfully is provided free of charge to a person with visual impairment who needs one.How you can help:Help the Academy train more outstanding guide dogs, bringing independent travel within reach of people with visual impairments.Support Mini-Q assisted therapy dog training and community services for more students and older adults.
