One Family, Two Tracks of Care
The Hong Kong Guide Dogs Academy grew out of the Hong Kong Guide Dogs Association, which has long been dedicated to guide dog services and public education. Although the two operate as separate charitable entities under Section 88, they are governed by the same Board of Directors and belong to one closely connected family.Through this dual-track structure, we create stronger synergies: the Association continues to deepen its core social services, while the Academy serves as a base for professional development and diverse life education. Together, we integrate the professional services of guide dogs and Mini-Q assisted therapy dogs with inclusive education and heritage conservation, providing more comprehensive care for the physical and mental well-being of the community.
